8 HR Otto Link Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece (TMEB)
This is a Tenor Madness Early Babbitt Hard Rubber Otto Link Tenor mouthpiece. It was marked with a 7 originally but measured .111 which is around 8. I had it opened up to 8* or .115 by Brian Powell who also corrected the facing curve and lowered the baffle somewhat. Brian does great, accurate work and it plays very nicely with a full spread sound but still plenty of projection and easy altissimo. Possible to get a nice Dexter Gordon type sound, not bright and harsh like some of these TMEB pieces made from the original early Babbitt molds.
