Vintage 1970′s DUKOFF D8 Tenor Saxophone Mouthpiece.

You are bidding on a vintage DUKOFF D8 Metal Tenor Saxophone mouthpiece. This Dukoff dates to the early 1970's and are highly sought after for the serious saxophone player. Is in almost mint conditon and comes in the original box with a ligature. See my other auction for a vintage Harrison that fits this Dukoff. The owner tells me that he called Dukoff in the very early 1970's and talked mouthpieces and then Dukoff personally sent him this one to try. I played it and WOW! it's a keeper. Has that jazz/rock and roll sound that is pretty current. Has edge, power when you need it and yet is easy to play and control. In my opinion they don't get much better than this one. I am selling these for a saxophone friend who has lots of mouthpieces for sale and more will be coming on eBay. I play tested this with a Fibrecell, Vandoren and Rigotti reed and it plays well. May have a few surface scratches but does not affect playing condition. SOLD WITH A NO RETURN POLICY. I will not devalue an item on a customs form. NO INTERNATIONAL SALES UNLESS YOU CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING TO SEE IF I WILL SHIP TO YOUR LOCATION. EXTRA SHIPPING COSTS ARE USUALLY REQUIRED.On Jul-23-12 at 05:27:41 PDT, seller added the following information:It comes with a reed cap, not a ligature as stated in the copy. A Harrison ligature is for sale separately in another auction that I have going.
